Works and looks good!

Dwight in UT – Machine this part was bought for: 2009 HONDA CRF450R

Comments On May 22, 2014:Although it takes a little work it is worth it! I looks sick. I didn't notice a sound or power change after the install. If you have all the tools it's easy to put on.

Decent Quality, but...

Steve in Colorado – Machine this part was bought for: 2007 KAWASAKI KX450F

Comments On Mar 07, 2014:Way over-priced, would be nice if it came in black or silver...the green is pretty goofy looking. I'm painting mine.

Just quiet enough

GARY in WA – Machine this part was bought for: 2012 KTM 250 SX-F

Comments On Oct 27, 2013:Bought this to tone down the sound from my Pro Billet spark arrestor end cap. It lowered the sound nicely yet still lets it sound strong. Two minute install.

Good beginner mod

Jayce in MI – Machine this part was bought for: 2013 KAWASAKI KX250F

Comments On Sep 03, 2013:I bought this in order to ride my bike on the sand dunes. Real easy to do but they don't include the odd ball drill bit size. On top of that the end cap is a forest green and my bike is lime green. It works though and that's all that matters.

Made me legal

Cody in WY – Machine this part was bought for: 2006 KTM 450 XC-F

Comments On Sep 03, 2013:Wanted a Spark Arrestor, but did not want to spen $300+ on a new exhaust. This is the way to go. If you want to make it quiter you can purchase the optional silent inserts as well. Great product.

Comments On Aug 02, 2013:Had to do a little drilling but having a removable spark arrestor is amazing and the bike sounds amazing now.

beau in CO

Comments On May 21, 2013:Does the job......but for the price you might as well spend twice as much and get a sweet FMF or Yoshimura slip on pipe, improve performance, sound, and these slip ons are also spark arrested.

Don't use on a 2-stroke

MIKE in OR – Machine this part was bought for: 2011 KTM 250 XC-W (E-Start)

Comments On Feb 24, 2013:I found out the hard way that you don't use a screen type spark arrestor on a 2-stroke. They get clogged up and choke off the engine. You're better off to spend another $50 get a complete spark arrestor / silencer like an FMF TurbineCore. The TurbineCore doesn't use a screen to arrest sparks so they don't get clogged.

Look trick

Justin in Iowa – Machine this part was bought for: 2013 HONDA CRF450R

Comments On Dec 21, 2012:They fit great on my 2013 CRF450R and come with good directions although you better plan on an hour to do it and you will probably ruin the stock end caps getting them out. Look trick and are definitely louder than the stock pipes without the sparkys and about the same with them on.

Good product

Chris in AZ – Machine this part was bought for: 2012 KTM 350 XC-F

Comments On Dec 14, 2012:Needed a sparky for the KTM so ordered the end cap vice a twice as expensive muffler. Fitment is right on. Instructions are not complete in that you have to pre-drill a pilot hole in order to get the blunt tipped self tapping threads to work.

Does what it says

Tom in AB

Comments On Aug 28, 2012:Made the bike less obnoxiously loud and probably arrested some sparks (can't be sure, never saw any). Easy to mount.

Looks great - tough(er) install

KATHLEEN in MO

Comments On Apr 17, 2012:2012 Honda CRF250R Install time is a bit longer that you might expect, but the finished product looks great. The stock Honda muffler is pretty quiet so there's a $200 savings over, say, an FMF Q4.

Best Way To Go

William in MT

Comments On Mar 19, 2012:Only affordable way to put a spark arrestor on a KTM 505. It does have a forest service approval stamp, doesn't hurt power or reduce sound. All off road bikes should have arrestor.

Best deal going to quiet your bike down

Matthew in VA

Comments On May 15, 2011:I have the spark arrestor on my RMZ250 and it meets 96db limit for racing hare scrambles. My buddy has one with the extra insert to quiet it down even further on his CRF450. His 450 is even quieter than my 250. He blows 94db. Great product.

pro moto sparky

AUSTIN in AZ

Comments On Jul 19, 2010:This product is a life saver. Arizona loves to make new laws to prevent us from riding in the desert. I installed this on my 07 kx450f. Its a easy install and the sparky can be removed in seconds for track use.

Great Product!

TERRY in BC

Comments On Aug 04, 2009:The End Cap looks great overall, and the spark arrestor makes you feel much better when riding through dry areas. Installation was pretty straight forward, not too hard, but a little time-consuming. It is a great end cap, well worth the price!
Additional Comments On Aug 31, 2009:Used on a 2007 CRF150R.

Be careful with the endcap bolts.

DOUGLAS in CA

Comments On Feb 15, 2009:Semi easy to install, pulling the stock stuff apart is the only hard part. Be careful with end cap bolts. Aluminum end cap easy to strip. I stripped one and had to re-tap to 1/4- 20 thread. Great product overall.
