Good lever for price

Comments On May 01, 2013:Lever fit fine, about like oem. You will not be able to use the clutch switch with this lever without some work. I just bypased mine and went on.

Comments On Jun 11, 2012:It's a fact of life that if you crash enough levers are going to break. I've even bent and broken the expensive "unbreakable" ones. These are cheap enough that I keep a couple extra on hand for when they break.

Good Stock Replacement

Comments On Mar 09, 2012:I replaced the clutch lever on my 2006 WR450 with this one because the bushing on the OEM one was wearing out causing excess play in the lever. This one bolted right up and took care of the excess play. Can't beat the price!

Comments On Jan 09, 2012:IT MIGHT NOT BE YOU BUT THESE CAN WORK ON OTHER BIKES IN A PINCH FOR THOSE WITH THE 'MCGIVER' APPROACH IN ORDER TO KEEP RIDING. THE SECOND THING IS TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING A 'SHOULDER' BOLT. MANY TIMES PEOPLE PLACE NON-SHOULDERED BOLTS IN THESE APPLICATIONS AND WONDER WHY IT DOES NOT WORK. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND DON'T BE A KOOK!

Slightly different geometry than OEM YZ250P

Comments On Apr 17, 2011:The OEM lever was sloppy loose with a totally egged-out bushing, thanks to the DPO (dreaded previous owner) never lubricating it. This is a big improvement, but the bend puts the end of it farther away from the bars, and the knob runs into the back of the Tusk hand guards. Had to modify it, trimming down the knob to make it fit. I have big hands, so any extra reach doesn't seem to be a problem. Other than that, seems OK for the price. Seems like low-quality alloy, but what do you expect for this price?

Comments On Oct 08, 2010:I bought this for my 2001 cr 125. I was in a berm came out to fast spun the bike around and laid the bike down and that is all it took. broke right in half. I trusted everybody elses reviews on here so I bought this lever but not again. I am glad it was under 10.00 though.

Comments On Jan 19, 2010:ATTACHED IT TO A 04 WR450 HAVE NOT HAD ANY ISSUES CAUSED BY THE CLUTCH LEVER. FIT AND FINISH WERE AWESOME. FINALLY BROKE AFTER BEING ATTACHED FOR A WHILE. BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE THOUGH. WILL NEVER BY ANOTHER MORE EXPENSIVE BRAND UNLESS I HAVE TO. AA++

Comments On Nov 16, 2009:I brushed a tree, not a hard hit and the lever shattered. It was on the first mile of the first lap of the first race I had on this lever. I had to race 16 miles with no clutch. It broke right at the pivot.

Cheap but broke

Comments On Aug 10, 2009:Bought to replace my stock clutch lever that bent after flipping it. We went out after putting the clutch lever and rolled the quad and the clutch lever broke. Spend the extra cash and get a nice lever that wont break when you roll your quad. You need a clutch lever to ride.
