Minor drilling needed again

Comments On Feb 05, 2013:As with the other plastics, minor redrilling for bolt location. Where plastic meets seat there is a bit lager gap but not too noticeable.

Comments On Jan 22, 2013:This is the only body part that has been lacking. The tank cover uses tabs to hold it in which is fine until you take your bike apart multiple times, then the tabs bend out of shape

Okay
Rand in WY – Machine this part was bought for: 2002 HONDA TRX 400EX
Comments On Dec 13, 2012:Looks great when on but I ended up having to trim some spots to get it installed. It's pretty much the exact same piece as the stock part but in a couple spots it is much thicker and the little plastic clips will not fit thru this and the front fender and lock without shaving it thinner.

Does not fit on stock plastics

Trouble with gaskets

Comments On Nov 08, 2010:Great product - much better than fusion paint if you want a different color tank. Wish the kit came with the appropriate gaskets as honda no longer sells one of them.

Great Product

Comments On Nov 07, 2007:I was a little leery at first buying aftermarket plastics but i was really surprised at the quality of these plastics. It feels stiffer and it really wears well, i haven't gotten any of the little scratches yet that i got right away on all the stock plastics i have ever owned. They take a little more work to install with a few extra brackets but it is worth it!

A bit different than stock

Comments On Oct 22, 2007:The tank cover is different than stock but fits together better.(I bought new plastic all the way around, awesome fit & finish). The two halves do not come connected but is not much of an issue, I used some 3M velcroand it worked great (I like it better than bolts or rivets.
