Comments On Dec 02, 2012:Breaking is no better than the Neutron pads but they do seem to last longer than the Tusk. Not sure if they are 2.5 times as good though.

Comments On Jul 19, 2012:I'd say this is a 5-Star product, but since I didn't feel or see any improvement over the "normal" EBC pads, I give it a 4. Overally, EBC does a great job.

Comments On Feb 08, 2012:I bought this at the beggining of the summer. They were quite as can be for the whole season but right after the summer ended they started to squeak. It is not all the time but every once and a while. They have bearly worn....I Will be buying again.

Comments On Feb 01, 2012:I bought these pads when I bought the EBC over sized rotor. When I first had them, they worked great, but if I let my bike sit for a couple weeks, on several occasions the pad seized to the rotor. When this happens, the pads get a glaze on them. On my first ride I would have to ride with the front brake squeezed to get them to work again. I've taken them off and lightly sanded the rotor and pad and the same thing happened. When they work, they are great, but I might have gotten a bad set as I've never had this problem with other pads before.

Comments On Dec 05, 2011:These pads are incredible! I've just finished rebuilding my CR250 and it flies! These pads stop it with ease, and so far absolutely no brake fade. They appear to be wearing very well as well. Brake feel is very good as well.

Comments On Jun 11, 2010:I have ran the mxs pads for several years now and would not use anything else. I have a 97 kdx but have equal or better stopping power than most due to the friction characteristics of these pads. The only complaint that I have with them is the fact that they do squeak at times, but I know from working on cars for a living that it is near impossible to find a perfect formula of brake pads, therefore I can put up with a little noise from time to time with awesome stopping power.

Comments On Feb 19, 2010:These pads work well in the sand and mud I ride in. They last a lot longer than the stock set and come with the brake pin and clips.

Comments On Dec 22, 2009:These seem to work well, but they make a lot of noise under hard braking. I notice this duing practice. They seem to stop well in all but very wet and muddy conditions.

Comments On Oct 01, 2009:I ride in all types of terrain and weather and these pads grap well in all condition. I tend to over use the rear brake pads wear well. Other pads may grab a lil better and last a lil longer but it is very hard to tell the difference. I will reorder and stock up on these pads while they are on sale
Additional Comments On Oct 01, 2009:I got this review confused with the nuetron pads but still the best pads in all conditions

Comments On Aug 04, 2009:stock front pads were showing a little wear so replaced with ebc sintered pads, worked ok for about 5 minutes now they squeal horribly everytime i apply the brake. (braking action is fine)

Comments On Sep 21, 2008:Installed the MXS pads along with a new EBC rear brake rotor this weekend and then spent all day Sunday riding hard in muddy eastern woods, the kind of riding and terrain that typically destroys a set of sintered pads within a couple of rides or less. The MXS pads showed no distinguishable wear whatsoever. The stopping power is outstanding - at least as good as if not better than the other brand pads I usually run. I will buy these pads again.

Comments On Nov 07, 2007:The only problem is that it wore out the rotor. Tonight I am replacing it with an oversized braking wave rotor bought here on clearance.

Comments On Nov 04, 2007:These are great brakes. Comes with replacement pins. Very good feel. Sometimes they squeek a bit (even when cold), but otherwise perform better than expected.

Comments On Nov 03, 2007:Brake pads are still in great shape. Got 20 engine hours on them and there still plenty of pad left.

Comments On Oct 23, 2007:The sintered pads in addition to buying the stainless steel brakeline made quite a difference it made it a one fingeer front brake on my 250f. I can say for certain the pad do grab better than stock pads which is much better for the guys who use one finger for the front brake. But I did add the brake line so it was a combo of the 2 that made the front brake much better.

Comments On Oct 23, 2007:These pads worked pretty good, about the same as the regular sintered pads. I don't really think it was worth the extra money though.
