Hard and strong but the quality is bad

Comments On Dec 04, 2013:Even before i started riding with this mount, the paint chipped off a little and after a couple of rides the ROTOPAX tank scratched most of the paint and its now rusty. Another problem was it only got one mounting position (the clamp) and it is not really secured in place. or at least i wouldn't trust it this way. I have drilled another hole at the bottom section to secure it with a thick bold, i also repainted the whole thing after cleaning it from rust and chipped paint.

Comments On Apr 26, 2013:maybe its just my machine(2013 rzr xp4) but i mounted this on the rear crossbar between the bed and the rear seats and the plate is too long so the gas can doesn't hang vertical 75 degrees or so and the only retention that I have from keeping my 2 gallon fuel can from flying out of the vehicle or into the vehicle and hurting someone is a small hose clamp so i would not recommend this to anyone

Comments On Dec 01, 2010:I purchased 2 of these plates to mount the 4 gallon gas pack. I am very pleased. It keeps the fuel out of the way until i need it and the mounting system holds it secure.
