Comments On Dec 19, 2012:I just installed this on my 2013 RZR XP LE. Its unfortunate that cutting into the rear of the bed is a must. It's fairly easy install, a roto zip would make it even easier to cut. As for the details in the instructions, I would give it a 8 out of 10. The oil breather was vague as to the best location but I routed mine up to were the original intake is at and trimmed the black pre filter a bit so you cant even see it but secure with a zip tie and easy to access. Looks pretty cool and seems to reduce the intake restriction but allows more air to enter into the motor. Oh and I suggest taking out the old intake system so you can route the oil breather up, its easy to remove.

Comments On Dec 07, 2012:I purchased this unit to replace the ALBA Racing filters that caused an engine failure by allowing sand into my engine. I think it necessary to let everyone know what products work good and which ones fail to do a good job. If you want to spend $ 2500 on an engine rebuild then purchase a less expensive aftermarket filter system as I did. I found out the expensive way. This unit by Dragonfire keeps the small particles of sand out, the ones that caused my failure, now I can enjoy Glamis without worrying that I will again have a failure. Thank you Dragonfire.

Comments On Dec 04, 2012:This intake does exactly what it is suppose to do. It increases performance and greatly enhances the effectiveness of filtering the air going into the airbox. The weak link in the XP is the seal on the airbox. The factory set up on this machine is not very good at all. I would rate this as a not "nice to have" but rather a "must have" accessory. In addition to noticeable improvement on performance, it also gives the XP a stronger sound. This even with the stock pipe.
Installation is a challenge, but very doable. You have to cut a hole in the bed to reroute the air hose. Do NOT let that freak you out. It does mean that you are stuck with this intake for the life of the XP. That is not a bad thing. The instructions provided are good. The guys at DragonFire are excellent if you have a question. You will have to re-wire the tail light on the drivers side... again, no reason to freak. It is easy to do. Give yourself about two hours to install. I had this as a five beer upgrade in the man-cave.
I followed some people on a very dusty trail and found the filter did an outstanding job.
Guys, if you have an XP this is an must buy upgrade. No BS.
