Have to replace your dust seal for fitting

Comments On Apr 02, 2013:I used this on my WR450F 2009 and had to remove my dust seal and use theirs but the fitting is not as good, letting in mud, I had new wheel bearings on the rear and they chewed out in 3 months, this has never happened before so I took of the disc cover and binned it and replaced the factory seal and new wheel bearings not a problem since that was a year ago, I would not recommend using this disc cover

Comments On Apr 01, 2013:100 hours of moderate trail riding on mine without incident. It does make it tricky to tighten the axle holding bolts as well as the fork protectors but is easily worked around. It will fit up to a 270mm disk as well which is nice.

Perfect fit mounting hardware

Comments On Dec 28, 2012:The mounting kit fit perfect with the disc protection/cover and my bike. I somehow that the "mounting kit" was also the disc protection. (my error?) so the only protection your disc gets is a piece of plastic. I don't think it will stand up to any heavy impact but will do fine with what is kicked up by a tire.

Comments On Oct 10, 2012:Works great on my CRF250R. Mounted the black cover and it looks awesome. Wasn't expecting to have to take the whole wheel off, but this takes the place of the rotor side spacer. Good design. Thanks RM.

Comments On Aug 14, 2009:This product works well and applying was easy. I mounted it on 2006 wr450f, there was only two diappointments, the Yamaha has an excellent dust cover for the wheel bearings that Acerbis did not replace or adapt. Also, the inside axle clamp bolt is not accessible to apply a socket to for torqueing. The product does it's job in the woods though.

Comments On Nov 28, 2007:great product but.... why would you sell the mounting kit and gaurd seprately??? It makes the setup a little pricey. however, it looks and performs great. very streamlined and you can remove your front tire without removing the gaurd. makes for a speedy tire change when it counts

Comments On Oct 21, 2007:I installed this disc cover on my 06' WR450F. Very easy to install and looks great. No problems with it, the disc has held up very well against some pretty knarly mountainous, and dessert trail riding.
