Comments On May 06, 2013:looks like a quality piece. Doesn't fit my application. Bolt holes are off by 1/2' when wrapped around swingarm. I would return it, but I already modified it cuz it doesn't have a small notch like oem, that allows installing a bigger countershaft sprocket without removing slider & sprocket at the same time. I'll just buy oem.

Comments On Jan 07, 2013:I bought this after my TM slider wore a hole through it. Went on pretty easy. Had to heat it up and stretch it a little to get the holes lined up. Also had to take the Dremel to it because my stock size 13T front sprocket wouldn't go on. Had to Dremel some more after that because the sprocket wouldn't clear it when rotated. The TM bolted right on with ease without having to shave anything but I did save money by buying this one. That's the reason I got it to begin with. No opinion on durability yet since I just put it on.

Comments On Nov 15, 2012:the slider is high quality. The fit was very tight and so made it a two person job. Easiest to put on the lower swing arm and then fight the upper swing arm bolt in. Thought it would install a little easier. Now that it is done, job came out very good

Comments On Aug 17, 2012:Get your chain in check with this kit. I put it on and never looked back, Well over 100 hours and extremely low wear. Also keeping my chain looking great too, less bouncing around from side to side with the middle ridge to keep it on track.

Not with a Kawasaki

Comments On Feb 08, 2012:Kawasaki's have a design flaw with the line up of the sprockets. This causes the chain to cut through the chain slide. If you dont have a kawasaki I would deffinetly get this slider. If you do this one wont last long.

Comments On Aug 12, 2011:Some other reviewers stated that they had to modify this slider to fit their bikes, but it fit my '96 RM125 perfectly. I did have to stretch it just a bit to get the holes to line up, but I think that it's supposed to be that way. It pulls it up nice and tight to the swingarm. Acerbis makes good stuff.

Comments On Apr 13, 2011:Do not buy this if you have a 2008 KX450F. Horrible fit, nothing like the OEM part. Will have to order the OEM one and will only use this as an emergency back up. Tried to save money by buying this part but now have to buy a second one...not happy.

Not what I expected

Comments On Apr 12, 2011:I ordered 2 of these, one for my 2002 ktm 520exc and one for my 2003 ktm 200sx. They where not quite long enough so I ended up heating them with a torch so they would stretch enough to fit. That seems a little ridiculous to me, they should fit with out having to heat and stretch them.

Easy installation

Comments On Jan 26, 2008:I had started re-assembling my bike when I found out I had ordered the wrong slider. Continuing with the assembly and fearing having to disassemble the swingarm when the part arrived, I found installing the slider while the swingarm was still on a breeze. The local shop gave me some bulky item that would have required a partial disassembly.
