If you can't get a freebie

Comments On Jan 29, 2013:If you can't get a freebie from your dealer as you should so you can advertise for them for free........you might as well buy one from your favorite parts supplier and advertise for them. After all you do save a lot of money buying from Rocky Mountain and their flags are inexpensive so if you have to buy one you might as well buy and fly theirs.

Comments On Oct 26, 2010:Great idea to be able to break it down into two pieces. Dont do it. The coupling that mates the two pieces together is steel which adds weight. If you go over any kinds of whoops, the flagpole swings frontward and backward beating you in the helmet. The metal coupling acts as a pendulum.

It works, kinda

Comments On Sep 22, 2010:I really like the two piece design of this product, it allows ease of transportation because you don't have a 6 or 7 foot flag tucked away or hanging out. However, the actual flag has difficulty staying on. If you buy this put some tape or a zip-tie above the flag otherwise you may lose it in the dunes. Other than that minor inconvenience it's a great product at a fair price!

Save your money

Comments On Jun 23, 2010:Broke after about 7 minutes and 0 crashes. Had it mounted in bracket and everything and it busted at the mounting nut. Save your money and get a big diameter pole and a spring mount. Spent the whole weekend fighting with broken flags.

My ears are ringing!

Comments On Apr 04, 2010:Coupler makes your ears ring when it whacks your helmet! Flag came right off the pole when going through trees. The little rubber pieces that keep the flag on do not work well enough to keep the flag on the pole if your riding in dunes that have low hanging branches. I'd recommend a one piece pole that has a non removable flag. It's also shorter in length than most.

Nice, but not what I needed

Comments On Dec 16, 2007:I was heading to MI for a dune trip and this flag/flag pole combo doesn't meet requirements. The flag isn't the right shape and the pole is to short. This was ceratinly my fault for not checking regulations before purchasing. Be sure to know the pole/flag requirements for where you ride to be sure this set will work for you. This is a good product at a good price...just wasn't what i had to have.

Comments On Oct 22, 2007:these flags are better than most I've seen. the mounting bolt is split so if you snap pole at base just unbolt, push out broken piece, and reinsert pole...not glued like some of them.
