Pleasantly surprised

Comments On Jun 04, 2011:I was a bit hesitant to buy this tool after reading all the the bad reviews, but its only $15 so I went ahead and bought it.
My biggest concern was its overall ruggedness and it turned out to be at least as good as the other Leatherman-type tools. It will be used for trailside repairs and take the place of the pliers, cutters, and multi-bit screwdriver that was in my pack. The only issue is returning tools back to the closed position is a bit of a PITA but it does increase the ruggedness factor, so I can live with it.

disappointed

Comments On Mar 13, 2010: looking and reading about the product seemed like a good purchase until i got it and started checkin it out!! JUNK!!!! you need a screw driver to get the tools out and fold it back up! if you need it in a hurry, you will most likely hour out! if you dont have a glove on and squeeze the plier it will hurt your hand! the sockets that go on it are ok as long as you dont need to get to a hard to reach area! out with the new and back to ol'trusty!

Multi tool

Good idea but poor quality.

Comments On Apr 25, 2009:I have always wanted a multitool to carry with me on the trail and the ones I looked at elsewhere were expensive. I saw this moose multi tool and thought I would give it a try. Piece of crap! When you open a tool all the way (until it locks) you cannot easily close it again unless you have a screwdriver handy. I thought that this tool was great because it had a spring puller on it. I did not know that you are not supposed to use it! It snapped right when I used it to pull a spring from my exhaust. I will spend the money on a well known name brand next time.

Comments On Mar 24, 2008:At last someone made a multitool for the enduro rider! Although is not very different from other on its kind, it does have a couple of tools that motorcycle riders need. It took a couple of pounds from my bag!
