Comments On Feb 12, 2013:this tire is super awsome!! i can literally start on a very steep sand hill incline facing the skie dump the clutch in 2nd gear sitting on the tank and it will climb no matter how steep or how soft the sand is. it really hookes up and will tote the front tire at lowe or high speeds. its ok on hard dirt great in mudd good in grass great on loose dirt. dont gun it on black top !! it wont last! if you have the power i strongly recomend this tire. cant wait to get another one!

Comments On Nov 09, 2011:Compared to the last rear tire I ran, a Pirelli Scorpion (which was basically an AMA legal paddle tire), this has been a better all-around tire for 90% sugar sand terrain found in south florida. Where the pirelli felt very wishy-washy if you ever found yourself on hard ground or palmetto roots, this tire feels much more solid. Still not as good as an MS3 on hard ground, but this one doesn't give up anything on the sand compared to the pirelli like the MS3 would. So far very happy with it.

Comments On Oct 30, 2011:I ride a lot at Jawbone Canyon which has a mix of sandy and harder terrain. You definitely don't want a paddle tire riding the trails, but you sure wish you had one when you're climbing some of the hills with loose sand. That's where this tire comes in. It's perfect for those situations. I was able to climb the hills with loose sand and then immediately go on a trail ride. It's going to wear down quick in anything less than very soft terrain but it's well worth the money for that flexibility it gives you.

Comments On Aug 22, 2011:used at the prophetstown hare scramble(very sandy). 10psi, bridgestone uhd tube. the scoop like knob pattern is much better than a conventional knobby in the sand. shows no wear after 2 hour race through some sandy woods. i'll be reinstalling this tire next year for sure.

Comments On Sep 21, 2010:This tire is awesome. By far the best soft terrain tire I have ever used. It gets excellent traction and lasts forever. A little pricier than some but well worth every penny.

Comments On Sep 28, 2008:Excellent tire for soft terrain, I used it primarily for hill climbing in soft dirt and loved it. Used it at the track the other day and definitely not a tire for use in MX, unless it is a sand track, it does not do well AT ALL on hard pack (which is expected).

Comments On Oct 22, 2007:I've tried new knobbies, paddles, and the pirelli MT410. This one is by far my favorite for the dunes. Lugs are thick enough that they won't break off in the occasional hard pack terrain.

Comments On Oct 22, 2007:If you ride in sand this is a great tire to use. Seems the wear is very minimal, but have only used the tire in sand, not sure how it would wear in the dirt???? Use the tire if your into sand riding.
