Comments On Dec 08, 2012:This is the 2nd jacket I've bought. It works very well, It has good size pockets and its big enough to wear over another jacket that has armor. I wear both, at the same time, in the winter. I only get chilled ocasionally. I went down in a parking lot practicing turns with this jacket on. I wore a hole in one pocket, but thats it. The only problem I've had with it is the velcro on one of the pockets is pulling off. It's had about a year of use and that's the only problem. For this price, I would buy another one.

Comments On Mar 11, 2011:Typically I wear an XL jackets and shirts. I bought the XXL, and the sizing was just right over my Thor chest protector. They allowed more room around the middle rather than tapered looking cut like Moose. Buy a size up. Overall the quality looks good. There's enough pockets and vents. The velcro on the cuffs could be a little better or wider but no biggie. I like the Jacket for the price.

Comments On Sep 20, 2010:I've been very pleased with this jacket. I've used it as a single jacket and also layered in very cold weather. Very wind resistant. Love the venting and convertibility to a vest. Recently rode in extremely wet weather. My chest/trunk stayed dry but the jacket did leak on the forearm seams. Overall, this is an excellent "entry" level jacket but is not water "proof". In most riding experiences, you'll be pleased with it's performance and the cost.

Comments On Sep 03, 2010:I've ridden with this a few times now, and I'm really liking it. I've owned similar jackets in the past, and I like being able to close it up on a cool morning, then open the vents as it warms, and remove the sleeves if it gets really warm. Good ventilation on this jacket, nice comfy collar, good zippers, and lots of pockets. Suggestions to MSR for improvement: I've been looking for a similar jacket that is water proof (to be fair, this is pretty water resistant), and also with a place for a hydration bladder- those two things would make this jacket perfect, but it is very good as it is.
