K&N explains it all!!!

Comments On Mar 10, 2009:I had to modify my warrior. it was worth it though. I cut the stock screen for the filter off and got a 2 inch diameter pvc pipe about 4 inchies long and glued it to the inside of the stock piece that holds the filter in place with the cut off screen. clamp her on in place so that the filter lays on the support in the back of the air box and you're good to go. real easy and cheaper than buying the whole modquad system. wish I would have seen the k&N stock replacement one fist!!!

Comments On May 29, 2008:Filters my machine more that my stock one the one thing about it if you buy it for a yamaha warrior it does not fit in the air box. So you have to take off the hose on the air box and put it on the K&N Filter. But other than that it give you machine more power and over all performance.

Mod-Quad LTR Airfilter System

Zachary in NV

Comments On Oct 22, 2007:The Instructions included were helpful and the billet plate provides a much nicer way to clamp the filter on. My only complaint was in order to use the K&N filter with it you must grind down or cut out part of the stock plastic airbox where the screw goes for the stock filter (this was on a 2007 Suzuki LTR 450, other models may not need airbox modification). You must do this in order to make it fit. It would be nice if you didn't have to do the modification, but it seals very well and is much better than the stock intake set-up.
