Needed modified

NATHAN in IA

Comments On Feb 16, 2014:The bolt that came with is not going to work I can't get a wrench behind the tire to put the nut on properly so made some modifications. When to hardware store picked up a threaded rod 2 nuts and a wing nut now the is tight and works great holds the tire great and I don't have to have tools to remove spare tire off holder

Wasn't completely thrilled with them

Scott in AZ

Comments On Sep 11, 2009:I bought two to store my trailer spares inside my race trailer. The base bracket is good but the shaft/bolt that holds the wheel and tire is not attached to the bracket and has a lot of slop in it. I had to fabricate a small spacer to the shaft/bolt so it wouldn't move around while I was trying to mount the spare tire.
They did end up working out for me and I didn't return them but I couldn't use them right out of the bag either.
