Comments On Dec 31, 2012:Fit is great and the custom looks is much better than stock. It feels more durable than stock as well. The short breather hose is nice as it does not get in the way nor do you need to stick it down the tube. I have not had any problems or leaks yet after many rides.

Billet gas cap

Comments On Dec 11, 2012:It looks good the only problem was that the rubber nipple kept falling off I eventually glued it on but eventually the glue was eaten by the gas vapors and it was never seen again I put the old hose from the stock one on it and it works fine now.

Comments On Jul 25, 2012:I installed the black Tusk Billet Aluminum gas cap on my 2012 Honda 400x. I looks great and it was exactly what I needed; however, I had some trouble getting the breathing tube to go on but other than that it has been a great product.

Comments On Apr 07, 2012:i bought this for my cr85 the color is awsome just in the cooler weather it gets pretty tight but it still functions and the vent valve likes to fall off when you move up on the seat but otherwise it works great

Rough around the edges, and heavy

Comments On Apr 23, 2011:Heavy cap. Looks great. The edges of the machining are sharp. This cap does not give a user friendly feeling when removing because the edges are sharp. And have a good grip because this cap would likely break a toe if you dropped it on a bare foot.

Comments On Feb 14, 2011:Great looking gas cap,Awesome price,fits tank properly. My only complaint would have to be getting fuel sprayed in my face from rough riding with a full tank. The check valve in the vent isn't very good at keeping the fuel in check.

Comments On Jun 18, 2010:Awsome looks, much more stylish than stock, but cap seems to over tighten when trying to take off. Must think about when you have to refuel in the middle of a race. If you don't mind the tight fit get it really makes quad stand out.

A great product

Comments On Oct 27, 2009:A great product at a great price. I was originally purchased a Tusk cap to replace my leaky stock KTM gas cap and it was so much nicer. Then I was looking for a gas cap replacement for my 2001 KLX300 but none were listed. By chance I was able to find out that the cap to a 2006 Honda CRF150F would fit on my KLX, so I ordered a Tusk. It worked out perfectly (just wish they made a blue one). That was a couple of years ago. Recently the stock gas cap on my 2003 KDX220 broke at the vent tube and it has the same diameter and thread pitch as the KLX300, so I just ordered another Tusk cap. So if you have a KLX300 or a late model KDX200/220, there's a Tusk gas cap for you.

Looks better than stock

Comments On Aug 29, 2009:The cap spins on/off easily, looks sweet, and does not leak when riding my '09 Raptor. It will constantly drip all over your quad if you stand your quad vertically (like inside a trailer). If you have to stand your quad up, you will have to put your OEM cap back on.

Comments On Jun 24, 2009:Just wanted to replace my stock gas cap with a billet one and this product does the job with a good price. The only trouble I had was getting the overflow hose on the cap. Not bulky like some other caps I've seen.

Comments On Mar 02, 2009:half the price of the others..plus now you have a little bling too. side note= for the breather tube, you have to use a little hose clamp or some super glue to keep it on...ride hard and they tend to fall off. otherwise this product is sweet.still 5 star!!
