Get a Grip

Comments On May 28, 2013:I really enjoyed these grips on my old bike so I bought them for me new bike. I also bought them for my wife's bike. I've noticed an immediate 57% increase in palm comfort using these grips, though I have no statistical data to back up that claim. I can tell you this, reducing the amount of time spent on your dirt bike will systematically decrease hand fatigue due to handlebar vibrations. However, that is not a behavior I am comfortable with, nor can I ethically recommend that to anyone. Clearly the most sensible soluction to hand fatigue is to recommend the purchase of the Pro-Taper pillow top grip.

Comments On Apr 29, 2013:For the price, i'm happy with them. They don't last as long as the basic waffle grip patterned grips, but these ones are soft and help with vibration. I have small hands, and sometimes I wonder if my arm pump is increased with these grips because I'm actually squeezing the bars tighter because of the soft grips. I have had to teach myself to loosen up on my grip! Buy them

Comments On Apr 13, 2013:ok ive had these grips on for a while. I like the thicker feel and comfort of the grips. They wear a little fast but with the comfort and thicker grip and vibration reduction its a trade of i can live with youll notice the difference.

Comments On Apr 08, 2013:Very grippy and feel very nice holding on to the, Fairly easy to get on. I used a VERY small amount of wd-40 to help get them on and once the wd-40 dried, they have not moved at all. Very pleased and will buy them again.

Comments On Dec 19, 2012:I know these are MX grips, but I loved the look, and for the price, I decided to order them up and make them work on my Z. With just a slight amount of trimming and a little grip glue, they fit perfect and look great! Really comfy on the hands, rode for about 5 hours this weekend and my hands dont hurt a bit. Got to me FAST too. RMATV is the way to go

Comments On Aug 25, 2012:These are currently my favorite grips. I have large hands (I wear a 2x glove), so I like a thicker grip. These grips have a larger diameter than average, but more importantly are extremely cushy. The end of the grip is a harder material so a light fall in a corner and such won't cookie cutter the grip. They are soft, so if you don't crash much they will wear out. Just be happy that you kept it on two wheels long enought to wear out a set of grips!

They give pro taper grips a bad name.

Comments On Dec 30, 2011:Seem to be pretty good. Feel a little odd compared to the standard scott diamand pantern grips. You get used to the feeling pretty quick. Definately improves comfort. Not sure about longevity of the 'pillows', only time will tell/

Comments On Oct 27, 2011:At first when I rode my boys YZ250f I didn't really care for the feel of them, then I came home one day and he had put a pair of them on my 250f trying to be nice to dad. We went riding for the weekend and these are the best grips I've ridden with in 30 years, they're sweet!

Comments On Jul 25, 2011:I put these on Pro Taper bars. On my 09 YZ450F I have Tag T2 bars with the TAG grips that are similar in style. I like the Pro Taper grips a little better. Both are comfortable though.

Not wide enough for handguards

Comments On Jun 16, 2011:Waffles make my hands go to sleep for some reason so I switched to pillows. Problem solved and I love the way I can let loose when I need to but don't lose a grip on the bar when I shouldn't.

Comments On Apr 23, 2011:A friend showed up with these on his bike and I laughed at him. Then I rode it. The joke was on me. I love the amount of grip and they hold up well. It also seems like I dont have as many blisters after a hare scramble either. Different approach to a grip. I have these on all my bikes as well as my ATV.
