Comments On May 16, 2013:I don't think the Ultras are worth the extra money unless you don't take care of your machine. Keeping tires inflated and clean on the inside.

Comments On Apr 27, 2013:These tubes are great. I use these with slime and had 30+ desert races over 4 years before the stem ripped out. I recommend them to anyone who rides in the desert.

Comments On Apr 28, 2013:These should come stock on new KTMs as they are an absolute necessity for technical riding. The bridgestones are the heaviest duty ones I've found and are indestructible.

Comments On Apr 29, 2013:Have used these for a couple years now and I yet to get a flat. Both sets I have used (changed out when putting new tires on) have gone through 85 plus miles of racing at the Virginia City Grand Prix which is a fast rocky race. Not to mention the other miles of riding on my own. I wont use anything else. They are worth the money.

Comments On Mar 23, 2013:toughest most durable tube out there in my opinion. Hands down

Comments On Mar 13, 2013:Okay, so it's about 3/16" thick rubber, works great for puncture wounds, but i was out on some trail a out 20 miles out and hit a rock on the trail and the tube split open about 3/4" long. WTH!?! This is suppose to be the best tube out there. My cheap-O nameless tube took harder hits that this piece and never went flat!

Comments On Mar 09, 2013:Best tube. Heavy duty is more difficult to install but worth it imo. Worth the extra money for sure.

Comments On Feb 25, 2013:It's a tube, not to much else to say....are some better than others? I guess so but in 40 years of riding all tubes are eventually going to get pinched or punctured so in the end a tube is just a tube.

Comments On Feb 12, 2013:almost flat free with these tubes. About 2 times as hard to install but well worth it in the log run. Great for woods and enduro racing

Comments On Jan 27, 2013:Very heavy duty walls. Have ran these in my bike for many years now without problem. Only one has failed due to pinch, which was obviously my fault running 10psi.

Comments On Dec 31, 2012:I've used the tubes for the last 2 years and they are near bulletproof. The only tube I would use for extreme desert riding.

Comments On Dec 29, 2012:Trail riding rocks and branches put the tire to the rim several time with no pinch flats. shop mounted them so can't advise on that aspect. might be heavy but I don't race

Comments On Dec 07, 2012:This tube has been in 4 different tires and still has no holes. The bike is primarily MX ridden so pinch flats were never an issue.

Comments On Dec 03, 2012:I ride on a lot of technical and rocky terrain with my tires at low pressure, and have never had a flat with this tube. Heavier? Absolutely. But the tradeoff for my not having to ride back on a flat, or change a tube on the trail is more than acceptable for me.

Comments On Nov 22, 2012:Work great unless you ride where some clowns throw nails down to sabotage you.

Comments On Aug 01, 2012:This tube is really heavy duty! Your getting your monies worth just in the amount of rubber in the tube!

Comments On Jul 27, 2012:Good heavy duty tube. You can really feel the substance when you pick it up. No flats so far.

Comments On Jun 27, 2012:Able to run low pressures for muddy conditions and never had a flat yet. the only thing is make sure you dont have cheap and nastie rim locks as mine spin a couple of times and severed the value using these tubes. no punctures over the rocky est terrain here in Aus.

Comments On Jun 25, 2012:I have had these tubes for about 4 months and they are working great. No flats even with very low pressure in a trials tire.
These tubes are very thick. And heavy. Probably about 3 times heavier than a standard tube.

Comments On Jun 16, 2012:excellent for enduro trails, and easier to put in than thin tube.

Comments On May 05, 2012:The Ultra Heavy Duty is the only tube that will survive the Arkansas rocky terrain. Used in hare scrambles and general woods riding and never had a flat.
Comments On Jun 18, 2009:heavy but won't stop thorns. No more pinch flats.
Additional Comments On Apr 05, 2012:You cant pop this tube !!
Comments On Apr 02, 2012:Since using these in the rocky northeast races I have not ever had a flat. I always upgrade stock tubes to these first things when I buy a bike. If you hate flats......buy these.

Comments On Mar 30, 2012:These are the best tubes I have tried yet. Make them tuffer by putting two in a tire.
Comments On Mar 31, 2012:I'd give it 5 stars but they are very heavy. But it's the price you pay in not getting a flat.
Comments On Mar 28, 2012:I really like this tube. Its about 2 times as thick as OEM and seems to be very durable so far. I'll be purchasing one for my front tire on my next tire change.
Comments On Mar 21, 2012:Worth the money - I do lots of rock gardening and have not popped one yet with MX tires at 15 PSI.
Comments On Mar 14, 2012:If you ride anywhere off road and don't want to repair flats on the trail, this is YOUR TUBE. Expensive, heavy and tough to install. Reliability and peace of mind is what you are looking for and you get both with this tube. Baja riders live and die with this tube for front and rear use.

Comments On Mar 07, 2012:I have over 2000 miles on this tube with no issues.

Comments On Feb 22, 2012:Great tube, no problems installing on my DR-Z. I ride off road with around 12 psi and have not had any trouble. Great tube, little on the heavy side.

Comments On Dec 27, 2011:Only tube I will buy
Was this review helpful?
Comments On Dec 22, 2011:These tubes are awesome. They are very thick and have good life.
Only downside I can see is that they are slightly harder to fit as they are not as flexible and they do weigh a little more than average.
Use one of these and getting a puncture becomes almost impossible.

Comments On Dec 12, 2011:Great tube and good value product!
Comments On Dec 07, 2011:This tube nearly stands up on its own. It is a much cheaper alternative to the tire balls or bib systems and would take something sharp to pierce it to go flat. I think it would be very hard to pinch this tube.

Comments On Dec 04, 2011:Worked great on my kxf! It adds a couple lbs to the front but that helps keep the front end down!
The only tube i will ever buy.

Comments On Nov 29, 2011:New Englands finest offroad tube... Rocks Roots and Mud! No flats ever!

Comments On Nov 06, 2011:The only tube that should ever touch your tires.
Comments On Nov 03, 2011:It's a catch 22... I don't get flats but the tube is freaking heavy! Bridgestone calls it UHD... with an emphasis on HEAVY! I have been running these tubes for a few years now and enjoy being able to run lower air pressure without getting flats. I hit a rock on my last trail ride that I thought for sure was going to result in a flat. I actually got off the bike to inspect the wheel for damage and expecting a flat. There was a small ding in the wheel but no flat tire. The additional unsprung weight has to reduce suspension performance but not getting flats is worth whatever amount of handling I have to give up. I love these tubes!

Comments On Oct 31, 2011:Regardless of price, these are the Thickest tubes I've ever used. 3 guys in my group and I have been running these for almost 2 years, with almost-every weekend riding.
NO pinch flats! (knock on wood)
YES they're a tiny bit heavier, but that's the point. I honestly can't tell any difference.

Comments On Oct 09, 2011:The tube is really, really thick. Just what I wanted. Hate getting flats while out at the MX track. Have had it on the bike for over 6 months with lots of rides on it. The tire is almost worn out and haven't had a flat yet. Good Product.

Comments On Oct 04, 2011:This tubes are nice and beefy, as advertised and hold up to extreme duty well.

Comments On Jul 24, 2011:I ride trails on very rocky terrain, and used to blow a tube atleast once a year. With this tube, i have had it 3 years, ridden as hard as i can and have had no issues at all.
Comments On Sep 05, 2010:Not a big fan of their tires but these tubes are the best. Appears three times thicker then the average if not thicker. They are heavy, no way around that but great for the trail. Just don't eat breakfast that will make up for the added weight. HA!
Additional Comments On Jul 06, 2011:Had a poor quality rim lock cut through it's own rubber cover and then through this tube. Rim lock steal looked like a knife blade. This was not the fault of the tube manufacturer. I rode on this tube flat for approximately 15 miles so I could make it out of the woods. I was sure when I pulled it out it would be shredded and ripped at the stem. Wow!! I patched the hole and put the tube back on my bike and I'm good to go. I couldn't be happier with this product. A must have for serious trail riders.

Comments On Jun 28, 2011:These tubes are very heavy duty and should help to reduce any chance of a pinch flat. A little hard to install but still easier then a trail repair.

Comments On Jun 27, 2011:Allows me to run lower pressures and climb hills with ease.

Comments On Jun 26, 2011:want a tube that wont blow up or get a hole, this is the one for you, if you dont care how heavy your bike is.

Comments On Jun 16, 2011:Rockymountain Service installed this for me. I probably would have pinched it otherwise! That being said, it has held up perfectly in some nasty conditions with no leaks at all. Couldn't be happier, a flat just plain sucks.

Comments On Jun 09, 2011:Pain to install but what UHD tubes arent? Awesome durability. Hit some large rocks & tree roots on the weekends Enduro that would have pinched any other tube. Heavy but worth it.

Comments On May 20, 2011:WAY better than a bib mousse for us weekend mortals. I have always run this tube front & rear on all of my bikes. My trail pack's tire spoons & my extra tube still get used all the time....by my CHEAPSKATE riding buddies! Why don't you all have these tubes? No more pinch flats. Barely more difficult to install BARELY! Don't believe the nay sayers, they are easy to install yourself w/ no bloddy knuckles.

Comments On Mar 10, 2011:Put these in front and in rear not a flat in 2 years little stiff like inflated when no air in them but super tuff .

Comments On Mar 10, 2011:This thing is the real deal , I use it when running studs in the rear tire , and even though some of the studs stick through , this tube is so thick the sharp screws dont hurt it one bit.

Comments On Feb 27, 2011:Great tube for outdoor riding. Holds up to extreme abuse. Can easily run low tire pressures with no flats. They're easy to install, and due to thickness, less likely to pitch. The only tube I ride with.

Comments On Dec 22, 2010:best tubes ever i race gncc. many other wood racing series.Have these in 3 sets of wheels 2 bikes.I take the other tubes out first thing. If you want to run your pressure low hook up and not worry about a flat these are for you.A bit heavy for mx track but perfect for rocks trees and woods.

Comments On Dec 16, 2010: These are the best, thickest tubes you can buy. Period. I have not had a single flat tire since I started using these over ten years ago. It makes tire mounting a little more difficult, but it is worth it.

Comments On Dec 10, 2010:very thick tube. will take a big thorn to make it through!

Comments On Nov 23, 2010:This is a lot of tube to stuff inside the tire. Might be a little over-kill except for those cactus garden rides.

Comments On Oct 27, 2010:Ultra heavy duty is no lie. It feels as heavy as the tire. I ride in rocky terrain and was having pinching problems but after about 400 miles offroad I havn't been dissapointed yet.

Comments On Oct 25, 2010:10times better than the regular tubes no thin spots that blow out on a hard landing
Was this review helpful?
Comments On Oct 25, 2010:This tube is very heavy duty and certainly does provide better flat protection. But then it is heavy also and adds significant weight to your wheels. Recommended but it does have an effect on your suspension action as well.

Comments On Oct 01, 2010: These are almost overkill. I find the just Heavy Duty Bridgestone Tubes work great for me. I ride in sharp rocks and lots of roots. And lower my tire pressure. No pinch flats yet.
Comments On Oct 01, 2010:I have used these tubes in trials rear tires on a WR450F and a XR650R for three years. I can run 11-15psi with no pinch flats, ever. Great tube for a trials tire!
