Garbage product and service

Comments On Aug 30, 2013:Got one for Christmas. Would power on first time and work perfectly. As soon as you turned it off you could not turn back on again without removing batteries and reinstalling. Did all of the firmware updates as instructed with no fix. Finally returned. Emailed tech support about issue first day I had issue. Finally got a response from Go Pro 3 weeks after I returned it. 5 weeks total with no response. There suggestion. Update the firmware and was generic email. A lot of money for something that doesn't work. Thought I got a bum one until I started reading other reviews online. If you get one good luck as I think it's 50/50 chance that it will work. Also be careful as the Go Pro Hero 3 white has less capability than the old Go Pro Hero 2. Marketing nonsense and just a way to fool the consumer. RMATV is Great!!!!! Go Pro not so much.

Not too excited with this camera

Comments On Aug 26, 2013:Bought the black version so I could use a remote. Remote goes dead through half of a ride. Camera will not play back on either of our computers. And we have updated the software. Tech support sucks. I like my original gopro better. My sister is having same issues with her new one. Not RM's fault, it is gopro's issue

Comments On Dec 25, 2012:I found this little camera quite fun. I've filmed snowmobile, to letting the kids take it down the toboggan hill, to filming our family dinner with it(needs decent light for less grain).
no problems yet, people complain about the battery life..... look at the size vs. the quality of the video 4000, 2700, 1080, 960 ect. I do recommend a bigger sd card at 1080 res. it uses up 4 gigs in about 15 mins. also i recommend at least quad core with 4 gig memory. I had to upgrade from a 4600 dual core cuz the video would't play smoothly at anything over 960
