Excellent for Comfort

Lee in Oregon

Comments On May 29, 2014:First, the helmet is made by Bell so the quality is good, also meets DOT specs. What makes this helmet is the adjustable fit. Old half helmets required that the chin stap be intolerably tight to keep the helmet in place or it felt like the helmet was continually moving around on your head. With this "Drifter" style, the chin strap can even be loose and the helmet stays in place by adjustment of the easy access wheel on the back. If you have ever had an adjustable hard hat with the knob in the back, same thing. And get the helment snug to tight and break it in to fit. I don't think you will find a more comfortable helmet after it is broke in.

Nice snug fit

Andrew in FL

Comments On Sep 05, 2013:The adjuster is nice. It keeps the helmet from moving around on your head especially at speed. It does sit a little high on your head and doesn't look as cool as a skull cap but IT IS DOT approved. If my head bounces off the pavement I will be glad I bought this helmet. It has removable ear covers which greatly reduce wind noise and I am sure would be nice in the winter time. Overall its a nice quality helmet for a reasonable price.

Bit too small

DAVID in TX

Comments On Mar 18, 2013:The little disk in the back of the helmet which adjusts size/fit had bars that came along the side of the temples mid helmet. These were very tight & I believe is what caused this helmet to run small. Otherwise even if snug padding would have conformed to head easily. Get a size larger. Also this fits pretty high above the head, felt like a cone head. Like the style though. wish it would have fit.
