Disapointed

CJ in Arizona – Machine this part was bought for: 2014 POLARIS RANGER RZR 570 EPS

Comments On Jul 15, 2014:I recently purchased a set of four Maxxis Coronado tires for my RZR. The front tires are 27X9X14 and they are mounted on 6 inch wide rims. The rears are 27X11X14 mounted on 8 inch wide rims. The fronts are inflated to 10 PSI and rears are inflated to 12 PSI.
I am disappointed that these 27 inch tires stand only 26 inches high in the front and 25.5 inches high in the rear. I did not get the additional ground clearance I was looking for.

GREAT for the desert

James in Nevada – Machine this part was bought for: 2012 POLARIS RANGER RZR 570

Comments On Nov 12, 2013:Purchased these for the terrain we ride in the most, the desert in northern and central Nevada: rocky trails, high-speed runs over the trails or playa, scrambling up loose rocky hilsides.
The Coronados have been extremely durable, and their high speed characteristics are superb. Excellent directional stability and steering feedback. The tires are a lot less "rough" than BigHorns or Anclas when riding fast on smooth surfaces, like groomed gravel roads and playa.
The big problem for other tires has been sharp rocks, these Coronados handle the dragons teeth with aplomb.
The tires are only so-so when in very loose material or mud, a decent tradeoff here in the desert.
It's as if all the good characteristics of the BajaCross (durability and high-speed manners) were combined with the great tire quality of Maxxis. A home run!
