Coloured fuel line adds a nice touch

Comments On Jun 07, 2013:Adds the little touch that can tie the looks of the machine together, but the line is fairly stiff and not sure long term how it will stand up to engine heat/sun. At least it is fairly cheap and even if it has to be replaced every year, it still looks nice.

Comments On Mar 02, 2013:Used a 4stroke kit for my 2stroke and had just enough length to get it where i like it. Quality of hose is great. The coloured hose is a nice touch

Holy cow it's a tight fit!

Comments On Apr 03, 2013:Love this stiff. Looks good on my yz but man is it a tight fit to get on and off! Working on the carb is a pain in the butt now. But, I feel it worth it as I can now see fuel flowing vs the solid black fuel line that was on there. I used the large 90* fuel filter with this and it worked out great.

Good if you have a straight shot

Comments On Mar 27, 2013:I had problems with the hose pinching on my 02 KDX 200. The hose fit good, I just had to make it as straight as possible from the valve to the carb. I ended up getting some 1/4 fuel line that was a lot thicker.

Comments On Feb 21, 2013:I used this fuel line to replace the old line going from the gas tank to the carburetor. Has held up well after roughly 10 hours of riding. It has faded slightly, but you can expect that with almost any fuel line.

Good fuel line

Comments On Feb 07, 2013:Helix Racing Products fuel line is a good quality fuel line. It is inexpensive and it stays flexible for a long time. The fit is a little loose so be sure to clamp it good or tie the fittings with a few wraps of wire. It will eventually get discolored and crack but this is true with all clear fuel lines... nothing lasts forever so I'd say this is normal. Good product.

Helix Fuel/Vent Line

Comments On Feb 19, 2011:Works OK with regular/premium gas; but I use Octane 108 fuel additive at a rate of 1oz per gallon of premium pump gas, and the fuel/vent line does not last very long in my 4 stroke; a little longer in my 2 stroke. Good value though!

Comments On Aug 19, 2010:Bought this line for mine and my wifes bike. Nice product looks great. Just make Sure you have some zip ties or safety wire it will leak if there is any side to side pull at the fittings.

Not for the FCR Carb

Comments On Oct 22, 2007:Nice product, but not an easy replacement for the YFZ450 stocker. The connection at the carb is probably 3/8 or 5/16, and this product is 1/4. Doesn't stretch to fit very easily. Went back to stock.

Translucent fuel line is a great product
