For the price its a decent tire. Stiff sidewalls and hard carcass. But, it pushes alot in the sand and soft stuff. The knob design obviously causes this, at a side view the knobs are almost all in line. I had a harescramble this weekend and there was no confidence in the front b/c of how bad it pushed. I will not buy again, much better tires are only 10-15 bucks more!

these are great tires for trails no matter what terrain. I used them for hundreds of miles in WV and MI forests. No chunks, no flats, and they hold up good.

IMO, this is the Best rear tire made for desert and single track. I love this tire and I buy nothing but. It is very predictable and hooks up great. I cant wait to wear out the stock tires on my new KTM 300 XC and get one of these on there. Highly Recomended!

This tire is great for roots due to the tread design that acts as a knobby paddle to let them hook. The carcuss is medium/soft that allows flexing and in my opinion, the sidewall is on the stiff side and can definately handle low air pressure. These run a little narrow but grip with purpose and are wearing very well for a softer lug and think the large area of the lugs is the reason. I like the Bridgestone 404's but found these to be better on wet rocks and they worked great in snow with the deep lug. This is the swiss army knife of tires but better and finally found a tire worth buying twice!

I have tried all of the trials tired out there for trail riding and this is the best performing tire. I ride dessert and mountain and this tire even did pretty well in the mud in the mountains. It has great traction even when the tire is put on edge which the other trials tires don't. It has a nice stiff side wall and the softest compound so it can be ran at a slightly higher psi (8.5 - 9 psi) Its only weak spot is that its thin skinned in between the lugs so once it starts to get worn down I tend to worry about flats but Ive never gotten one. I wouldn't recommend this tire for Moab as the slick rock wears it down quick but slick rock wears every tire down quick.
