    I have bought 3 of these. The first one got wet and shorted when I rode in the rain. The next one I took the red lens off and put a bead of silicone around where it contacts the main assembly. That was over 5 years ago and no problems in every weather possible. I did the same to the last one I bought for my wife's bike 3 problem free years ago. Nice and bright. No license plate light but I believe it states that in the description. If the lens came with a seal it would earn a 5 star rating.

    Bright light, little small though.

    The led light is quite bright. This light is on the small side of things which could be a pro or con depending on the application. It fits my Husqvarna very well since it has a narrow and pointy rear fender. The entire assembly is ~350mm long. The plate mounting area is ~102mm at the widest (just below the light housing) and ~120mm long. This is wide enough to bolt a plate on, but only with the top bolts as the plate will hang over the edge. I would have given it a 5/5 if it had been long enough to use all 4 of the plate bolts.

    Fell off on 1st ride.

    Don't use the two small sheet metal screws to fasten the top to your fender. Mine came out on the first ride and the rest was history. It ended up falling into the rear tire and ripped to pieces, along with my license plate. Use a small thru screw and nut to fasten.....other than that it worked well and fit on my fender nicely.
