Seems to work great. I hear rocks and debris hit it all the time and have no damage to my header pipe. I put this on after my team mate's bike too a beating to his header. So far, it seems to add the additional protection I was looking for. I would recommend this to anyone doing hare scrambles, rock climbing, crazy woods stuff, etc.

It takes some work to get the guard shaped to fit because it is so thick. Looks as if it should hold up well.
