  These were actually the wrong reeds, but it was my fault. I didn't know I had a Rad Valve. But... they included everything you need including new screws. RMATV took them back with no problems.

  I installed it according to the directions and brought to my mechanic shop to dial it in due to popping on decceleration and they could not get it to quit, the carb was jetted correctly and in good condition as well as the valves and the bike had no backfiring before, other than the "wide open throttle" type most 450's get when going extremly fast on a beach. My mechanic said he spoke with boyesen reps on the phone who told him to just send it back for the refund and it happens commonly. I was hoping this would help with hot-starting issues and really dissapointed now.

  My 450x had problems starting, bogged, and backfired so i installed this along with other aftermarket parts. This made starting alot easier no more backfiring but did not solve the bogging when quickly whipping the throttle.
