  I bought this for my son because it got good reviews and was a little cheaper than the Leatt. It didn't fit and the construction was pretty cheap compared to my Leatt brace. I sent it back and ordered him a Leatt as well. In my opinion, there is no comparison. The Leatt is expensive...but you know the saying.

  Poor manufacturer product support

  The plastic breaks, the elastic and velcro give out, the circlips can pop off in a crash and unless you want to spend another $100 bucks, you can't get replacement parts. Those replacement parts should cost very little and be easy to get but Alpinestar won't give them to you - very poor product support. I'll never buy them again.

  No Good

  Poor quality on the buckles and straps no instructions and no info on using it with a chest guard. I hate the X straps but they are just as sturdy and way more simple. Good thing for Rocky Mt. awesome return policy.
