  I was concerned about installing this but it was MUCH easier than expected. It does what it's supposed to do and I recommend it to everyone who owns an older KLR.

  Much better than the OEM tab washer.

  This nut makes changing my front sprocket very easy. The OEM tab washer was a pain to flatten and then fold back up and eventually it will wear out and need replacement. This design is much better. Some KLR owners like to swap their front sprockets to a higher or lower tooth one, this will wear out the tab washer quickly. I highly recommend this even if you are not planning on changing your front sprocket to a different size.

  Kit came with good quality drill's, was not bad drilling through the frame with an 18V Dewalt drill and some cutting oil. Straightforward install.
