    Good

Recently bought a 2-stroke. YZ125. Have nothing to compare to, but oil seems to be doing what it is supposed to. Do NOT get confused by the "Thumper" on the label - it is GOOD for 2 strokes.....see the BelRay website.

    Bel-Ray SL-2 Semi-Synthetic 2-Stroke Oil

ran this at 32:1 in the dunes with air leak

I didn't know I had an air leak but was jetted well and had good clean filter and used the Bel Ray SL-2 with non-ethanol 92 octane fuel. The intake boot between reeds and carburetor wore a hole from a mis-aligned pipe clamp. I didn't suck sand into the motor but pulled in lots of air making my fuel-air mix dangerously lean. Bike ran super hot and boiled over numerously at dunes in 60*F weather. Bike ran so hot that it would diesel and would not turn off with the kill switch. Fiddled with jetting some but no improvement of course due to gaping hole in intake boot. I was either very lucky or this oil prevented total engine melt down. Engine still fine today with tons of compression/power. Thank you Bel-Ray! Husky WR300.
