  • Firstgear Waterproof Heated Motorcycle Jacket

    Firstgear Waterproof Heated Motorcycle Jacket

    Keith in AL

    Never tested waterproofing but...

I bought a Medium, same size as the jackets I usually where, and it fit like a spandex shirt. Way too tight on me, but fits my wife perfectly. Also, never managed to test why this happens, but Gerbing gloves plugged into this jacket, only run for 5 minutes or so, then shut off. Guess I have to buy a Gerbing Liner...

  • Firstgear Thermo Suit

    Firstgear Thermo Suit

    Scott in Tennessee

    Awesome suit!

I have owned this suit for six years now and it still looks brand new but even better than that is the fact that I can just throw it on over my normal riding gear and I have ridden in single digit temps with sub-zero windchills in complete comfort! Do not know why anyone would spend thousands on heated gear when this suit does the job! I do not own a car so I ride year round much in thanks to this suit.

    amazing wind breaker

It can be a little hot but I wear shorts, flip flops, and a Tee shirt in the snow. Amazing wind breaker. Would have been 5 stars but it has to be HAND washed. Only down side thus far.

  • Firstgear Heated Glove Liners

    Firstgear Heated Glove Liners

    Kat in UT

    Nice Glove Liner ... +++

Heated grips are nice, but when the rides get colder these liners will add the heat you need to the top of your hands and thumbs. As with all liners, they are not expected to work alone, but as a supplement your gloves and heated grips. I really dislike the cold and you will catch me using the heated seats in my car year around ;-). I was worried to ride a motorcycle in cold temps because I like my creature comforts. Last weekend I rode in temps as cold as 34 degrees Fahrenheit and these liners kept my hands cozy when used in combination with the Firstgear Heated Jacket and Firstgear Troller. As a liner to a good glove they are perfect.

  • Firstgear Portable Heat-Troller - Dual

    Firstgear Portable Heat-Troller - Dual

    Kat in UT

Easy to hook-up, mount and use - ahhhhh

I'm dislike the cold and have been known to use the heated seats on in my car nearly every month of the year. Recently, I planned an 800 mile motorcycle adventure touring trip to Jackson, WY only to find the weather on the cold and wet side. Off to RMATV to quickly order some "heated gear" and WOW! I couldn't be happier! I bought the Firstgear heated jacket, Firstgear portable heat-troller and the Firstgear glove liners. Installing the troller was a piece of cake as it comes with the wires and fuse ready to bolt to the bike battery. Mounting the troller to the bike was simple as it comes with sticky dual sided Velcro that adhered to my tank bag! From there I simply had to put on the jacket, plug it into the troller and occasionally turn the knob for heat as I drove down the road. The temp was down to 34 degrees Fahrenheit with a 65 mph wind chill factor and all I could think of was "Aaaahhhhhhh! This is a nice and toasty tour!" :-)

  • Firstgear Rubber Overboots

    Firstgear Rubber Overboots

    VAN in IL

    Good Emergency Protection

The overboots are made of rubber and have a non-slip material on the soles. They come up high enough to keep the rain from getting between my rain paints and the top of the overboots. They are great for stowing under the seat then putting them on during unexpected rain. The only downside is that to be snug enough to keep from coming off makes them really hard to get off when you are done riding. That is a minor compliant compared to the convenience and having dry feet.
