I had to take a backpack everywhere, there are times I don't want to hassle with leaving it at the front desk when going in to a store. They hold about a 2 liter bottle for each side, not much but better than the alternative. It holds their form even while in high winds, the exterior is pretty rugged. Easy to tie up to the frame, lots of string they provide to tie it down.Read All Reviews

For street bikes and stuff, these are great, just like other reviewers have said. However, if you plan to use these on an adventure bike or dual sport, be forewarned... due to their very lightweight construction, they bend very easily. My DR650 tipped over with these boxes attached and full of camping gear. The impact was enough to put a rather large dent on the inside of the right-side box where it attaches to my Happy Trail rack. I was able to straighten it using a floor jack and a block of wood, plus some pounding with a large rubber mallet. I'm no longer going to use them on that bike; they will be for my V-Strom instead. Still, if I ever go down on it, it will likely destroy the box.Read All Reviews

My biggest concern before I got this was that it would get in the way when I ride, my first time out with it I kept looking down when I felt something between my legs, and I quickly got used to it and now I don't notice it at all. It is definitely small, but is perfect to hold my registration, flashlight, and anything else I might need to grab in a hurry. My only complaint is that it sits at a funny angle with the IMS tank on my 525 EXC, but the way that tank and seat meet up there is no good solution.Read All Reviews
