    These are what you need to stand up to the abuse associated with woods racing. The guards are made of quality aluminum and the mounting hardware is top notch. I have used the acerbis guards and they do not hold up like these.

    EXCELLENT FACTORY REPLACEMENT WITH MORE OPTIONS

    I HAVE AN 06 CRF450R. I HAVE ONLY USED THE STOCK SETTING ON THIS THROTTLE BUT IT IS NICE TO HAVE THE OPTION FOR A QUICKER TWIST. BASED ON HOW EASY IT WAS TO INSTALL IT WOULD ALSO BE EASY TO CHANGE WHEELS. I WISH I HAD THIS WHEN I BOUGHT THE BIKE. I WOULD HAVE PUT THE SLOWER WHEEL IN WHILE I WAS LEARNING. YES, I LEARNED ON A 450. ABOUT KILLED MYSELF A FEW TIMES AND ALL OF THOSE CLOSE CALLS COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED WITH THIS THROTTLE AND THE SLOW TWIST WHEEL.

    Little modification

    I purchased this to replace the stock throttle cables on my 2003 KTM 525 EXC. I had to modify the plastic housing to fit the stock throttle on the bike. It is made of plastic and was a bit of a pain to adapt. Overall I am happy with the quality of the product and the smoothness of the throttle.
