Good quality plow. polaris sportsman 550 2009
All components seems to fit well and hardware seems of pretty decent quality. Instructions well laid out and pretty easy to follow. One thing I did find, that is not mentioned in the item description, is it requires a warn winch mount or polaris mount (in my application). Too bad I already had a cycle country mount. Really didn't take a major modification to make it work. Just a little shocked when the very first part of the instructions throws that little known tidbit of info at you. I wasn't about to tear my winch off and buy a new mount just for that. New style mounting near front a-arms makes for easy on-off. Just need some snow to see how it works. All in all, a nice unit.

Decent Winch, Horrible Instructions.
First the winch itself: I bought the 3500# winch with Nylon line. I've already use it to pull the RZR out of an 8foot ditch behind my house. It got quite hot, but worked great. The RZR frame is predrilled for everything but the remote socket so once you figure out how everything is supposed to fit, it all fit's nicely. The duty cycle in the manual for the winch appears to be pretty conservative, but it's also kindof pathetic.. By the chart in the manual: at full weight you should only pull 1 foot every 10 minutes. The contactor mounts to predrilled holes in the firewall. You'll need a 2nd set of hands to install this. It's not possible to reach both sides by yourself. Everything is color coded. The bigest pain istalling this was routing the big wire to the battery. I used a fishtape to pull this through were the other wiring harness runs. Otherwise your probably pulling the skid plate off the bottom to get at it. The instructions that come with this thing are AWEFUL. There is confusing/ambigous text explaining unhelpfull grainy photos. Assume you'll be installing it by trial and error.

wonderful product
Everything arrived on time and in perfect condition plow took about 20-30 mins. to assemble and install. Just watch a video on Youtube of the guys at rocky mountain putting one together and you will have no problems. I haven't got to try it out yet but its very heavy duty!

Good plow
Should've only gave it 4 stars since it came with no instructions on how to put the plow together. Just several boxes of parts and bolts but didnt take long to lay everything out and figure out where it all went. Once together, I have no complaints.
