    On the plus side, I does very well against sand and grit. On the down side, it doesn't resist abrasion well. Pluses outweigh the minuses for sure. Dirt in the motor = disaster.

    Quality filter.. just a little snug

    I like the filter overall. Made of good quality and doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart or tear anytime soon. Some filters feel like they are going to tear when you massage the oil in, not this one. Only con is the fitment, it fits a bit snug around my 05 CFR250R's filter screen/basket. But still keeps the dirt out of the intake :)

    Wrong size screw

    Cover came with the wrong length of screw. I was able to use the OEM filter screw though. Also when I removed the cover, there was some water inside. Suggest still sticking a rag inside intake boot first.

    Works well

    Fit perfect in my '07 YZ450. Nice filter, came pre-oiled. Included plastic gloves was a nice touch. The new screw it came with wasn't as good as the OEM one. Also I would have liked to have had a gromet molded into the filter where the screw goes through it. Only time will tell how it holds up.
