I have about 6,000 miles on these tires. Still a lot of tread left on them. I can't tell the difference from the OEM tires on my '09 Road King. Shipping was lightning fast. Don't miss the thin white walls.

I typically liked the Pilot Power 2CT's but I think these will be even better with a thinner medium compound strip and the softer compound on the sides...what that means is that you get in the softer, better performing compound earlier in the turn! The middle compound is still there for long, straight trips...sounds great to me.

I had two sets of these and was pretty happy with them until i punctured the rear after 1,500 ks.So i replaced it with another and yep this rear also punctured after 2,000 ks.So dont know about mileage but up until i destroyed 2 rear tyres in 3,500 i decieded this must be an omen so i switched to dunlops and bridgestones, yep no more punctures

These tyres are great, they have exceptional grip through all conditions. Great for mountain riding due to being a dual compound tyre.

We buy Metzeler for all of our bikes, dirt and racing as well as road. This was the first time I've had it on my road bike though and I could not believe the difference. Coming back from a big crash, I felt my confidence had taken a huge knock. After putting on the Metzelers, I felt stable and smooth in all of the corners and the feeling of feedback and grip from the road is simply unreal. The different compounds throughout the tyre mean I can clock up long highway miles and not have that ridge worn into them, then as soon as you lean it over in the twisties you get the sticky softer grippy edge. Very happy, thanks RMATV for an unbeatable price on this great tyres!

I've had similar products that just didnt work, the irons would slip, the rim protector would slip, and the strings would get in the way. This product just works, seems to have made it easier to manuever the irons around which when installing maxxis desert IT's is important.

For example, sport bikes need dual compound Z rated tires that will grip easier when turning such as the Dunlop Qualifier Performance Radial or Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2. If you’re an adventure touring enthusiast, you need motorcycle tires that withstand long mileage and have a wider tread to dispel water and mud through all types of weather like Michelin Pilot Road 3, Michelin Anakee 2 or Metzeler Tourance. When you’re cruising, tires with a heavier compound like Michelin Commander II or Dunlop 402's are ideal.
