Pros,Ordreing from R/M was the best, fast shipping, the product was right, very easy site to use.I didnt not have to jet my bike it was already done so install was almost a snap........Ok cons,Check your parts list FIRST, before starting I was missing 2 of the 3, 1/4-20 Nylock nuts. And I also replaced the 3, 1/4"-20 socket head cap screws with 1/4-20" button head screws, the socketheads hold the inner rubber flang up, where the button tops leave it flat it looks right this way. Try to have sum help an extra set of hands are very helpful and a little dish soap for the rubber boot and airlines save time also. MAKE SURE to double check which airline from the crank to cut the pic in the instructions is a little decieving. Make sure to cut the vacume line not the large one to the carb.I do love the product and I am very happy with it.

I have installed this kit on two bikes! Both of them were V-Star 650's. I really like how they come with the proper jet kit and instructions! Install takes a bit if you haven't ever installed one before but all in all a great product! Comes with everything needed so you don't have to buy seperate jet kit or filter. Looks Classy and performs well! Would recommend to others!

Additional Comments On Oct 15, 2012:Added this to a stock 88 with straight pipes, This bike had not been re-jetted for the pipes, but a local mechanic suggested I remove the mixture screw plug and adjust the air/fuel. With the iridium plugs added and the mixture adjusted this air intake made a huge difference in the power of the bike. Worth the money, as this is about fifty dollars less than the K and N. My only complaint is the instructions do not include any information of treating and care of the filter after use, but I will maintain it the same as a K and N. BTW the new gasket for the back plate is sealed in the packaging with the filter! http://www.harley-performance.com/harley-davidson-carburetor.html PS if you are very careful u do not have to fully remove to carb to remove the mixture screw plug, and also seal this plug after you adjust it to where you like it, hi temp silicone works well.

Works great as a quick release for a water line running to your helmet. Easy to operate with gloves on.

It took me some time to figure out how to hook up the auto tuner. The instruction are not the greatest. I ended up watching a few youtube videos and emailed dynojet and got it figured out. It is a fun little tool to play with.
