  Leatt Brace Junior Roost Deflector

  Leatt Junior Chest Protector

  I was a little unsure when ordering this protector as I was able to find very little feedback on here or other sites. I just got the protector and it looks great. It is made to fit with the small Leatt neck brace and it fits perfectly. One of the things that I really like is that it fits on the outside of the chest protector, thus spreading the load out over the entire front or back panel in the event of a hit. I was really looking for this as I really believe the brace can put to much pressure on the chest plates or spine especially with young riders. It also has nice straps to help keep the brace in place (on the shoulders) and will also make it easy to remove the front plate of the neck brace for easy in and out. I would have liked to have shoulder protection but the padding is fairly thick in that spot so it shoulld be okay. This is a junior vest so there is not a lot of room for it. I really like the bukcle system as you set the tension and then it is a quick connect and disconnect system. Well thought out in my opinion. Plastic and padding seem good with decent ventilation channels in the biofoam as well. The description for the junior is a little misleading as there are no removable plates but it does fit the small leatt brace perfectly as is. My son is 12 and goes about 80 pounds and it fits him well. I will try to update this after my son wears it a bit, but I would not hesitate recommending it to anyone looking for a good chest protector who does or does not use the small Leatt neck protector. I am impressed with it upon initial review.

  These are Skinny guy pants.

  I have a buddy who likes his pants and they have held up very well. Therefore, I thought I would grab myself a pair. However, they were way too small. I call them skinny guy pants! Be warned. Like I said thought, we ride together all the time and his pants have held up very well so besides the sizing and cut, I would rate them high compared to the Shift Recon and ARC Foul Weather Pants I have worn through in the meantime.
