good for strapping down light items like a jacket

Comments On Jun 29, 2013:The first thing i noticed about the rack upon opening the package was that it was larger than i had expected. Its capacity however is (per the sticker) only 5 lbs. The rack is a decent option if you want to relocate your rear turn signals (it requires, and has mounts for, about 2"rearward and 1.5" upward). Installation was not quite bolt on. You will need to remove the seat, both side panels, the turn signals and disconnect the wiring, remove the oem handholds, remove rear fender, drill two holes in the fender and pull like heck to get it lined up on all four bolt holes on the fender frame. be sure to get some Loctite for the bolts when installing.
