2002 BMW GS650

Comments On Jun 28, 2013:Before I bought these tires, I had probably hours of reseaching blogs, posts, and reviews to make a decision which tire to get. The Anakee 2 stood out and judging how hard they were to find, I figured I would take a chance on them. I couldn't have been happier. Between the compound, tread design, and Michelin reliability, these tires are phenomenal. I currently have about 8500 miles on them and I have zero complaints. Last year I did roughly 7500 miles on a cross country trip and they handled flawlessly. Cornering, braking, and cruising all were superb. There was a little "road whine" being that they're a more agressive tire, but the wind pretty much drowned out any of the road noise. I really hope Michelin keeps this design in their long term plans to keep around. I am forever sold on them. Even after riding on various terrains during my trip, and currently having about 8500 miles on them, they will surely have about another 4000 miles easily. If you're looking for a seriously good all around tire, the Michelin Anakee 2 should definitely be on your list...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Hope this helps out.

Great all around tire!

Comments On May 14, 2012:I you are looking for something to get you there on the asphalt and handle low to mid level off road riding this is the ticket. Good solid cornering, good wear on long trips and handles the dirt reasonably. Highly recommended!
