  • This extreme duty radial tire is loaded with features to meet the highest demands of today's machines and consumers. For example, the STI Roctane XD's 8-ply-rated radial carcass is built to confidently handle ever larger, faster and heavier UTV applications. A heavier denier nylon cord maximizes tire toughness while retaining flexibility for a comfortable ride. The Roctane's unique, non-directional tread design and wide profile footprint deliver smooth, quiet operation and precise control.
  • STI's exclusive RocWall sidewall construction features reinforced lower sidewalls and extra-wide tread belts for added shoulder protection and stability. Add in super-deep RocGuard rim guards to protect even the thickest wheel lips from trail damage, and the result is the most reliable tire on the market.
  • The Roctane XD's specially formulated tread compound extends its life even further, yet it still grips the slickest rocks like a dedicated wall-crawler.
  • 8-Ply rating.

These are the only way to go in Az desert

Comments On May 25, 2014:Love them great everywhere I tried them true to size. Good price and they are supposed to last. All this in a radial tire. Found that on my RZR that 4psi works in the rocks and trail riding.

Great Tuff Tire

Comments On May 16, 2014:Great tire, very heavy duty with the 8 ply rating. The traction off road has been excellent. I have had them in snow, rock, mud and hard compact in the Sierra's. They have performed very well. I will be putting these on my other machines. I had no problems with the bead leaking on the stock rims.

size not true

Comments On May 01, 2014:I ordered a set of 27 inch tires and none of them were close to 27 a little disappointed because I was replacing 26 inch Bighorns and actually didn't end up gaining anything

good all around tire

Comments On Feb 14, 2014:I LIVE IN SOUTHERN UTAH WHERE THERE IS A MIXED BAG OF COUNTRY. FROM SAND, ROCK, SNOW, AND MUD. THIS TIRE HAS PREFORMED WELL IN ALL. LOOKING TO BUY A SET FOR MY 2009 RHINO 700. ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT TIRES HAVE SMALL AIR LEAKS, SO I JACKED UP GRIZZLY AND AIR UP ALL TIRES TO MAXXX PRESSURE AND LET SET FOR A WHILE. THIS HELPED A BUNCH. TIRES PERFORM GREAT EVEN AT HIGH SPEED, AND GREAT ON TRAILS. ALL AROUND GREAT TIRE FOR THE PRICE!!!!!!!!!!

Good tires - when they hold air

Comments On Nov 08, 2013:Grip is very good, and the 8 ply rating is nice for peace of mind in the rocky desert.
Unfortunately, they leak like a seive around the bead. I bought all 4 at the same time - fronts and rears. One of the rears leaked so badly around the bead it would go from 14 psi to flat in a matter of hours. Rocky Mountain replace under warranty. Now it holds air better than the other 3.
All 4 now seemed to be holding pressure - at least overnight. After sitting a couple of days, the other rear would seem to get low faster than the others - about 14 down to 6 psi over the course of a week with no riding. the fronts would lose pressure, from 14 down to 10 psi.
Good thing I brought a compressed air tank for my first weekend trip. When you actually put the tires in motion and go riding, they lose pressure even faster. The fronts will go from 14 down to 8 in the course of a day. The original rear will be at 4 psi at the end of the day if you don't add air. The warranty replacement rear will hold 14 psi all weekend. Unfortunately, my first weekend trip wasn't for nearly 45 days after I bought the tires - otherwise I would be returning them all for warranty replacement or a refund.
When they are inflated, they work really well - especially for the price which is why I gave them two stars instead of one. Until they fix the inconsistency with the ability to hold air, I wouldn't buy them again.

Roctane XD Tires, set the bar high!

Comments On Aug 04, 2013:I purchased a set of 27x14 Roctane XD tires for my Arctic Cat Wildcat and have been running them all summer around Munds Park, Arizona. Last year I shredded two tires on the sharp rocks in the same area; fairly mild running I thought. This summer I was able to step up my riding due to improved confidence in my new tires. These Roctaneâ??s run very well on the open trails and logging roads, but really proved themselves in the rocks and climbing categories. Most of my buddyâ??s are running Big Hornâ??s and even those have had some issues in the rocks. Now they are taking a hard look at the Roctaneâ??s with the higher 8-ply rating when their tires need replaced. Sure glad I am not walking back to camp or sitting around with cut, punctured, or flat tires again
