didnt fit

good tank terrible sihpon

Comments On Dec 29, 2012:the tank is solid, mounting hardware solid but didn't fit out of the box.. had to bend the fork mounts open to fit upper fork tubes. straps were too small. had to use larger hose clamps from the hardware store. Siphon SUCKS! and not literally. hose is coiled so it doesn't reach bottom of tank. must use a hose or transfer siphon from auto parts store. NO INSTRUCTIONS for siphon. Like they went to lunch half way thru the product design and didn't come back. buy it for the tank but rig it up yourself.

Not the greatest product

Comments On Oct 23, 2012:Bought this for my 2001 YZ250 for extra fuel mileage on the trail. Main brackets had to be pounded flatter to fit right. Hose clamps were not nearly big enough so bought bigger ones. It never siphoned in tank. However, once on, it held good while riding and it was nice having the extra fuel even if I had to take a siphon hose to manually put into main tank. Yes I noticed the extra weight on front but for trail riding it was fine.

Comments On Oct 12, 2012:i love the aux fuel tank, only drawback is the filler cap is had to get off, other than that this tank is awesome and will add hours of fun without heading back to camp for fuel!
