Comments On Feb 06, 2012:I bought the Modquad Double Locking Axle Nut for my 2005 Honda TRX450r. The axle nuts on this bike are notorious for their failing hold. The new axlenut is quite beefy and durable looking. Installing the nut was easy.. until I twisted the head of the hex bolts that come with the nut. I wasn't twisting particularly hard when the head came off. Luckily the screw holes were drilled through completely, so I was able to drill out and use a screw extractor to get the old screw portion out. I headed to ACE hardware and bought 2 replacement screws of a harder material and have since been pleased with the nut.

Comments On Dec 05, 2010:They should have put these on from the factory. The stock nuts suck. The double locking axle nuts are a must have if you have ever taken your axle out. Its almost impossible to keep the stock nuts tight once they've been removed.

Comments On Apr 26, 2008:Looks a lot better than the stock nuts, but loosened every time I rode with it. I had it as tight as it would go and the pinch bolts as tight as they would go...back to the stock nuts!
