- The Power Now Plus works by controlling the air stream after the slide. At lower throttle openings (idle to ½ open), the area between the slide and carb throat is much smaller than the area of the carb throat in front of the slide. Because of this, the air expands or "breaks" into the larger area quickly. In a stock carburetor, this airflow is uncontrolled and spins around.
- By reducing the area in front of the slide via the Power Now Plus Power Blade, slicing this air into two smaller masses, the air does not break as far, and cannot spin, it is forced to move forward filling the cylinder in the shortest time and making the most power at lower throttle openings.
- This product works alone, but for the absolute maximum power gain, pair the Power Now Plus with the original Power Now.

FMF Fatty/FMF Shorty/VForce Reeds/Power Now/Power Now Plus/12 tooth Renthal front sprocket/Stealhy Flywheel Weight... Watch out!

Comments On Mar 09, 2009:The part works GREAT - much less hesitation coming off of closed throttle. Really impressed! The bike just wants to GO now, and it was a pretty hot bike before the install. Much better throttle response, you don't have to go wide open throttle to feel the power kick in.

Eases starting woes

Comments On Oct 25, 2008:I've used Power Now on all my 4 strokes and one thing I can say for sure is that the bikes start better when hot or cold. That is worth the price to me. Is there a power increase/more crisp throttle response? Could be but I can't say for sure. I think there are better power mods but combining the starting benefits with potential power increases and you have a good product.
