Comments On Feb 06, 2012:this product is not made for motorcycles. The 10 foot long temperature lead with a suction cup is designed to be mounted out side a car and useless on a bike. the volt gauge is off by 0.5 volt and the temp gauge reads high in direct sunlight. the gauge is not water resistant and will be destroyed the first time you wash the bike or get cought in the rain.
Additional Comments On Nov 07, 2012:This product lasted an amazing 9 months before failing completely, despite my efforts to keep it dry. I only regret I can not give this product zero stars.

Comments On Jul 03, 2012:I read the reviews before I bought this and water damage was the main issue. I wrapped mine in that thin cellophane type window insulation that you shrink-wrap with a hair dryer. It is a hardly visible clear film, and you can push the buttons through the plastic. Three years and many downpours and it is still working fine. Yes the voltmeter is slightly off but you can compensate (mine was low by 0.2 volts in 12). Keeps accurate time and the temperature is accurate once you get moving. One of my favorite add-ons.

Worth the money

Comments On Feb 03, 2012:Easy install. It has 2 temp sensors (inside and outside) so I cut the outside one off. DON'T do this as the inside sensor is WAY off when the sun hits it. The velcro is strong and the wires are so small they easily fit into the fuse box next to the fuse blade(protected side of course). If you ride alot at night the backlight LED's leave alot to be desired.
