- The Alpinestars Scout Waterproof Motorcycle Boot is a tall multi use, all season riding boot suitable for dual sport touring bikes or sport bikes. The Alpinestars Scout Boot is a durable, waterproof leather motorcycle boot with a stitched sole engineered for exceptional grip on slippery surfaces. The Scout Motorcycle Boot also features internally molded shin, toe and heel counters for excellent impact resistance and abrasion, a removable PE padded foot bed that provides shock absorption and impact protection, and a breathable mesh foot bed liner that helps keep you dry.
- Full-grain leather bonded with a waterproof membrane for a fully watertight boot.

Best all around boot

Comments On Oct 11, 2012:Used mine for dualsporting LA-Barstow-Vegas in the desert on my KLR, and on the ZG1400 riding fast from San Diego to Tulsa, Rain, heat, they do well. Easy to put on and off. Had a board hit my shin at 80 mph pretty good and the boots did a better job of protecting me than I believe they were designed for. They can be a little "kloppy" to walk in, especially until they're broke in. ZG1400's are heavy and even when footing down on an oil patch, the boots never have slipped. Very long lasting boot.

great boots

Comments On May 27, 2011:They were comfortable right out of the box and are breaking in nicely. They work perfect for my dual purpose bike,and feel good on my old moto guzzi. I've been caught in the rain once and they kept me dry. Walking around in them is no problem. Love them.
