Very happy

Comments On Feb 29, 2012:Got a great deal on these pants on closeout, fit is good with plenty of stretch and movement where it's needed, very tough and generous size leather protection inside the knee and look great.

Great deal on quality gear, PT II

Comments On Jan 02, 2012:Reviewed the '11 Defcon jersey already, this review will be largely the same.
Bought the '11 on closeout. As with the Defcon jersey, sizes run big (had to return a 34 for a 32, which fits perfect) so order accordingly. Plenty of room in knee area for braces - I use a CTI unloader brace, and it fits with room to spare and zero issues with binding. Ran my first race with it yesterday (new years hangover hare scramble). Survived two hours of face slappers, one gnarly crash, and lots of 'creative' lines that took me off the established trail and through lots of brush, saplings, and general nasty woods junk poking and whipping at me. The pants held up great - no rips, tears or problems of any sort.

Won't buy again

Comments On Dec 05, 2011:First off, these pants were very big in the same size that fits me well in Answer, MSR, Fox, etc. Should have ordered 1 size smaller, but I rode with them anyway. I fell down in a corner and snagged my knee on something, tearing a giant hole in the knee. Material in the front of the knees is like pantyhose.

My first pair of MX pants.

Comments On Oct 24, 2011:These pants are awesome.. they breathe, are comfortable and protect. The only negative which is not really the mfgers fault is, I went down wearing these pants. The head pipe landed on my leg and despite the leather patches on the inside of the pants, It missed the leather and burnt through the fabric. Under normal riding conditions, the leather does what it is designed to do and that is to protect from the muffler pipe while riding. My case is, I crashed and the bike landed on me. Love the pants.. look great.. dont hesitate one second to get these. Bought on clearance.. great price.
