This works

Comments On Oct 27, 2011:I used this on my 530 chain out at the dunes and it saved my weekend. Anyone who has fought a 530 rivet chain knows it's a fight. Take your time and this will do everything it claims. Get some extra pins so if you break one, your covered. No sense in having to go home if this tool is the fix on your chain.

Solid tool to add to the collection

Comments On Aug 02, 2011:Good price point on a full chain tool. Well made. Have used on 530, 520 and cam chain. Rivet tool for the 530 sized chain works well. Worth the purchase if you have different sized bikes in garage and want one tool to work on all of them.

expensive but does the job

Comments On Dec 15, 2009:While this costs quite more than a chain breaker and master link, you can't go wrong with being able to rivet the chain back together for outstanding strength. The tool has a little bit of a learning curve to get used to it, but in time gets easier.

Comments On Sep 20, 2009:Installed a DID xring chain with rivet master link. Originally bought another brand that was terrible. Borrowed Motion pro from friend and it worked great after I consulted DID.The only issue was the directions were a little vague for the first timer. I liked the tool so much that I purchased one myself. The price seems a little steep but its a one time purchase.

Comments On Jun 23, 2008:Great tool to own if you don't mind riveting all your buddies chains. Riveting is better than the master link for reliable chains. Will break them too. Keep the master link in your pack for the emergency chain break situations.
