- Trail Tech AC Voltage Regulator with Dial Adjustable Output.
- Universal voltage regulator limits voltage to 12.0-16.0 volts for AC systems (DC systems require a regulator/rectifier.)
- Conditions circuit to eliminate electrical spikes, protect from lamp blow-outs, and reduce flicker and dimming.
- Featuring the "Dial-a-Brightness" for halogen and quartz lights, this regulator lets you set the output depending on your personal needs.
-At the 14+ VAC setting, the lamps will approach HID lumens (~70%) but lamp life is short (good for racing.) ~25 hour lamp life.
-At the standard "shipped" setting, about 13.8 VAC, the lamps should last about 500 hours.
-At the minimum setting, the lamps are not as bright as HID (~30%), but last over 1,000 hours.

1995 Yamaha Blaster

Comments On Feb 17, 2013:My voltage regulator went bad on the blaster and it was reading like 18 volts. I was going through light bulbs like every hour. This was much cheaper than an OEM part so it's what I bought. I haven't tried adjusting the voltage, but it came set at about 11 volts. The manual says it is supposed to come set at like 13.5 volts. That inconsistency is the only reason why I only gave it four stars. You will need a wire crimper and some attachments to install it. It just comes with the two wires pre - stripped.

Works great

Comments On Nov 21, 2012:Upgraded the stator on my dual-sported dirt bike and found previous owner had removed the regulator (only running DC). This worked great on the second output to the headlight.

What a savings

Comments On Jan 11, 2011:Just the headlight side of my regulator went bad. This fixed that cheaply, and the batt side may never go bad. saved me a big exspense replacing the stock regulator
