It may be the looks

Comments On Apr 15, 2010:Installed on pro-taper bars. Clutch side does not fit tight so wire is a must even with glue. Throttle side is great, especially since the grip will go over the inner tube flange without interfering with throttle movement (OEM Honda CRF throttle). I did notice that the inner part (where the graphic is) of these grips are prone to separation from the outer clear gel so I glued that part together after they were on the bike. If your going to glue these on the bars, I suggest you use something with a slow dry time as the quick stuff set up instantly when I glued the inner-outer gel. Grips look way nice, feel good, and don?t stretch when you put them on. Decide if the money is worth the look, since you can get cheaper grips that feel as good (better?) and fit better. Bottom line: They will stay on my bike until something happens, but I will likely not replace with the same unless the price comes down.

Comments On Mar 14, 2008:Great looking grip that fit standard bar well, and is made of durable materials. Would recommend for anyone who wanted to purchase a tuff grip that also dresses up the bike. I have had many positive comments from my friends about the looks of these grips.
