  • Draws air from the stock airbox, the cleanest place on the machine. (Some minor mods to the airbox are required)
  • Bolts to the engine, not the frame so there's no pulled off connections to the engine.

Ump filter

Comments On Jun 27, 2012:I read about all the early deaths with the rzr and even though they said they fixed it for 2012 at the dealer ship I put this on the only thing I couldn't figure out wast the stupid breather filter wich comes from fram great setup though if catipliar trust it in a million dollar dozer you bet I will

piece of mind !

Comments On Apr 08, 2012:just finished installing on a 2012 rzr-s . straight-forward , easy install in about 2hrs even with the removal of the bed.This unit is tucked-in way better than stock air cleaner , so its not getting debris thrown right at it. I know have total piece of mind that my new rzr-s will not die an early death from dirt.

Great product

Comments On Oct 04, 2011:I researched a ton about what would provide excellent air filtration on the RZR while not being annoyingly loud. This is the perfect product for that. The UMP housing is strong, the boot to the throttle body is much thicker than stock, and the Donaldson Filter is the best there is. Mounting the intake was simple and only required a little modification of the stock air intake box. I have a little more power, but mostly I love how I can trust that no dirt will be getting past the filter and into my engine!!!!! Thanks UMP!!!

RZR airbox fix

Comments On Feb 07, 2011:The stock filter always let dust dirt and sand pass through. The UMP stops everything! I no longer worry about damaging my RZR. No longer is there dust and sand in the tube leading to the throttle body. It is just great piece of mind.

no more sand suckin

Comments On Sep 02, 2010:After having to rebuild my RZR when the stock filter let dust and sand pass through, I bought this kit. I have been keeping a close eye on it and it has been great so far. I have had it on all spring and summer and it hasn't let anything by.
