Black faded in the sun

Get out your glue

Comments On Oct 10, 2010:These caps have an inner plastic cap that spins free from the outer if you put the slightest amount of pressure on them when tightening. I ended up using a little grip glue (and let dry overnight before putting them back on) and things are now good. Thinking it would suck to need a pair of pliers to rip the aluminum cap off the plastic cap if you had to put air in the tire while on the trail. Also, these caps are not tall enough to touch the lower stem seal on our bikes so we had to put a washer between the cap and stem seal to keep the sand and dirt out of the rim.
